Who is a Handyman?

A Handyman is a tradesman that has a wide knowledge of trades and skills that are required to complete most jobs around the house or office. A Handyman will happily take on any jobs that would be too small or unusual for other trades. The advantage you get by calling a handyman is that he can complete various jobs that would require different trades at the same time and the job might be looked at, estimated and completed the same week, sometimes even the same day.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have a £5m Public Liability Insurance in place

Do you subcontract any of your work?

I never subcontract any of my work. It’s always done by myself so you can stay assured that you have a trustworthy and reliable person on hand. If there is a job I can’t take on I will recommend a reliable tradesperson

What are your hours of business?

The business hours are Mon – Thur 10:00 – 18:00. 

What area do you cover?

I cover all of Edinburgh and a 15 mile radius around the city

What does the hourly rate include?

The hourly rate is a labour only rate for DIY jobs. Jobs that require more expertise or specialist tools are charged on a job by job basis. The fee doesn’t include any parking charges (if applicable), parts or materials. There is no VAT on top of that
